Happiness Assessment
Our psycological wellbeing is affected by three main factors – our genetic makeup, our enviorment and our thoughts or actions. When we pay attention to something and measure it, we are more likely to find ways to improve it. Take a few moments to do this questionnaire. This is a good way to get a snapshot of your current level of happiness. You might try the assessment several times over an extended period: take the questionnaire now and return at a later date to take it again, comparing scores (perhaps after trying some exercises to increase happiness). There are just 36 simple statements, so it won’t take long.
Please read the statements carefully, don’t think too much on any one statement; there are no “right” or “wrong” answers (and no trick questions). The first answer that comes into your head is probably the right one for you. If you feel some need more exploration, give the answer that is true for you in general or for most of the time.
Rate your each answer on a scale of 1 to 5.
1 – Most of the time
2 – Often
3 – Sometimes
4 – Rarely
5 – Almost Never
